If you are a regular reader of our website, you may have noticed that it has been going through some growing pains lately.

We apologize for that.

Here are some statements as to what has been going on:

1)  In celebration of our 50th year serving Eastern Iowa and to continue our outreach mission to as many people as possible, we decided our website needed a facelift.

2)  We selected Joomla! as our CMS (Content Management System) to allow a LOT of powerful features. We ask your patience as we learn and apply that capability.

3)  We tried to go for broke right off the bat and unfortunately crashed the code behind the website... hard.

4)  Since that last attempt, we have decided to "grow" the site while it is live. There are two reasons for this. First, it ensures that if we break anything with a change, we can revert back quickly enough without keeping the website down. Second, we can keep a constant line of communication to our most important reason for existing; YOU!

5)  Please check back often.  You can observe the evolution of the website. Maybe learn the features of Joomla! with us.
