JESSICA PRAY
Jessica Pray, soprano, has been noted for her "sweet, clear quality" in Candide with the Eastern Connecticut Symphony (The Day), and for her "exquisite control and warm vocal timbre" in Faure's Requiem with the Jacksonville Symphony (Florida Times-Union).
Recent opera credits include Zerlina (Don Giovanni) with the Jacksonville Symphony; Nan Wood (World Premiere of Grant Wood: Strokes of Genius), and Polly (The Threepenny Opera), both with Cedar Rapids Opera Theatre; and Despina (Così fan tutte) and Helena (A Midsummer Night’s Dream), both with Yale Opera. Upcoming performances include Mozart's Requiem and A Short, Slow Life by Emily Doolittle, both with Orchestra Iowa in 2020. Jessica also performs as a member of Vocal Artists of Iowa.
Jessica earned a Master of Music in Voice from the Yale School of Music and a Bachelor of Music from the University of Iowa.
